Phreckle Face is headed to the Pacific Northwest this summer!! Woot! Woot!! I can’t wait to head to some of our favorite spots with the kids this summer (San Juan Islands, Port Angeles, Canon Beach..fun times!!) Since we are headed home for more than a week or two I decided to open up my books for a few FULL sessions. I will not be holding holiday minis this year in Washington so July is the time to get in on the Phreckle Face books. Let’s face it wouldn’t you much rather get to  enjoy the sunshine that July brings and pass on those dreary fall days!! My books are filling up fast. If you would like to book a session anytime between June 25th and July 18th give me a buzz. This family is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite families in Texas!! Now if only I could talk them into moving back to the PNW they would be the PERFECT neighbors :) When we were talking about where to hold their session the first think that popped into my mind was the beach!! Soo we loaded up the cars, the kids, and the hubbies and headed to Port Aransas this weekend!! It was just what we all needed!! Despite the hurricane winds, mountains of seaweed and cheeto lovin seagulls we had a blast!! Those alfred hitchcock birds were not taking this girl down!! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Six Months [cibolo lifestyle family photographer]

Six Months flies by in the blink of an eye. When we met up in Schertz several weeks back the blue bonnets were in full bloom and  little miss was celebrating her six month milestone. Can you tell that her mom and dad are madly in love with her?!?! And rightfully so!!  I just love meeting up with new parents and watch them as they oo and aww over their little ones. And I have to say that I was ooo and awing over her as well!! She was such a doll baby!!

Wildflowers [schertz family photographer]

One of the things I LOVE about military life is meeting families from all across the states and comparing notes about different duty stations we have been stationed at or would LOVE to be stationed at next. Well low and behold for my very last bluebonnet mini I got to meet up with this fabulous family and their adorable red headed cutie pie and wouldn’t ya know they had just come from Alaska. Our #2 wish list spot for our next duty station. I’ll let you guess where lucky #1 is :) . Anyhooo I LOVED chatting with them about their travels and experiences and it made Alaska sound sooo much more than we ever could dream of. Hmmmmm maybe it might trump that #1 spot :)

But enough about duty stations, don’t you LOVE little man’s Toms..tooo cute!!! We had a blast running through the wildflowers and climbing on tires!! The best of both worlds!! Loved meeting ya’ll and can’t wait to see where your travels will take you next.

A Little Pinkle Toes Workshop Lovin [san antonio maternity photographer]

This past week I had one of those moments..you know the ones that you DREAM about and put on your bucket list as a MUST DO one day!!

No it wasn’t to fling myself out of speeding airplane or any other death defying act like that..thought I do have a few of those reserved for when my munchkins leave the nest one day. But more about that later..at the top of my photography world bucket list was to attend a workshop with the fabulous Michele from Pinkle Toes Photography. You can’t help but SMILE when you come across a session from Michele. I love the emotion you can feel in each of her pictures. Her clients are lucky ducks!!!!

As part of our workshop we were able to shoot a variety of models to practice our shooting skills. I LOVED this couple!! They are expecting a sweet baby girl soon and I am sure she will be as GORGEOUS as her mama. Talk about a lucky duck..I felt like one of the luckiest girls to participate in 3 days of photography fun!!!

I can’t even imagine how ecstatic I will be one day when I become a granny. I always sit back and watch in awe at the love that oozes out of my mom and dad when it comes to my munchkins and my brothers munchkins. I mean they are just ridiculous and I wonder who are these people?? LOL!! There is just something that happens when you become grandparents. You get to love on these sweet little ones without the extra added stresses and responsibilities that are on your shoulders as parents. This grammie and grandpie are no different. They are sooo in love with this little man and I can’t blame them!! He is such a sweetie!!

Enjoy every minute of this new season of life!!!! I feel soo blessed that I was able to capture just a few moments of it for ya’ll!!

Rainy Afternoon [schertz newborn lifestyle photographer]

There is so much love surrounding this sweet little man. You can see how content he is just snuggled up to his mom and dad. Ahh the life of f a newbie. Rewind a few months back and you can see our fun little maternity session we shot during a crazy Texas rain storm.  His mama holds a special place in my heart; she was my sweet little man’s kindergarten teacher. To this day he LOVES her and wants to move back into her classroom. Her little man is one lucky guy and I can’t wait to take a peek inside her adventures as a mama. It’s definitely going to a fun ride!!
