If you know me, or have followed this blog for any amount of time you probably know that next to photography, traveling is at the top of my list of favorite things to do! I blame my dad for my wanderlust, growing up I lived all around the world and even to this day I am always on the hunt for the next spot to explore and travel to. So last month I got the bug to travel and set off on an adventure to Alaska. On my own, without kids, my hubby, or even someone close by my side. For years, I have been saying I want to travel to Alaska and take in its breath taking beauty that everyone always talks about in the lower 48. Part of my reason for going to Alaska was to not only feed my “want” to travel, but to also feed my creative side and attend a photography workshop hosted in one of the most breathtaking locations in the United States.  It was definitely a different experience, and while I’m glad I did it, and loved getting to finally check Alaska off my bucket list I’m not sure if traveling on my own is for me.  I realized on this trip that while I love traveling, it just isn’t as fun or enjoyable without someone by your side to share it with. So here’s to more adventures, but next time with someone by my side. Because…life was meant for good friends and great adventures!

I'm the photographer for the adventerous couple who is seeking something different and wild.  I love working with people who want to dance in the rain, get married in a forest or on the coast,  and don't mind a blustery day that might whip their hair around.

I'm in awe of love like this....Raw, Honest, Real.
